On June 10, 2026, Weintraub Tobin shareholder Lily Harris and associate Madeline Giles presented a webinar on behalf of the Orange County Bar Association. The webinar, titled “Discovery Practice in Trusts & Estate Litigation” will provide an overview of discovery practice as encountered in trust and estate litigation.
This program will provide an in-depth overview of how discovery is approached in probate court and offer practical guidance for navigating discovery disputes. The presentation will walk attendees through key considerations and strategies, including:
- Attitudes toward discovery and discovery disputes in probate court
- developing a discovery plan
- propounding and responding to discovery diligently and effectively
- making use of alternatives to formal discovery in trust and estate litigation
- handling common types of lay and expert witnesses
- using discovery to achieve good results for your client at mediation or trial of trust and estate disputes.
