Mr. Waldron has also assisted triers of fact and other counsel as an expert witness and/or consultant in the areas of bank/borrower relations, lender liability litigation, corporate governance, partnership law, application of the Uniform Commercial Code, the reasonableness of attorney fee requests, an attorney’s standard of care and attorney-client fee disputes. In addition, he has testified as an expert witness before the Los Angeles and Orange County Superior Courts and a number of arbitration providers.
Mr. Waldron received both a B.A. in International Relations and his Juris Doctorate (Order of the Coif) from the University of Kansas. He is a Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA); a Fellow with the American College of Trial Lawyers; a Member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Chapter Association of Business Trial Lawyers (President in 2006); and past President and a Member of the Board of Governors of the University of Kansas, School of Law. Mr. Waldron was awarded the University of Kansas School of Law’s Distinguished Alumni Award (2006), and he was recognized as the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association’s “Top Gun” Award Winner for Business Litigation Trial Lawyer of the Year (2007). In addition, Mr. Waldron has been recognized as a Super Lawyer continually for the past ten years.
Mr. Waldron is a CEB and Orange County Bar Association Programs in Lender Liability, Federal and State Court Practice, Legal Ethics, and Real Estate Matters. He has also served as a lecturer/Judge for Orange County Bar Association’s College of Trial Advocacy. In addition, he has served as a Member of the Orange County Bar Association Federal Court Committee (1986-1996); a Member of the Orange County Mandatory Fee Arbitration Panel (1988 to 1998); a Member of the Orange County Bar Association, Committee on Administration of Justice (1988 – 1989) and previously served as Chairman of the OCBA Judiciary Committee.
