Women of Weintraub: A Month of Connection, Growth, and Impact

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Women of Weintraub (WOW) affinity group brought colleagues together across offices to celebrate connection, growth, and community. WOW continues to foster an environment where women feel supported, empowered, and inspired to advance both within the firm and in the communities we serve. From networking events and mentorship opportunities to meaningful conversations and shared experiences, each gathering reflected WOW’s commitment to elevating one another, creating pathways to leadership, and strengthening relationships with clients and peers alike. These moments not only highlight the strength of our community but also reinforce our dedication to cultivating a culture of inclusion, opportunity, and long-term success.

Throughout March, our offices hosted a series of WOW events, including a team-building escape room experience in Los Angeles, a luncheon in San Francisco, and a rooftop mixer in Sacramento—each designed to foster connection, collaboration, and engagement across the firm.

The WOW initiative is led by a dedicated committee of firm leaders, including Shareholders Jeanne Vance, Jessica Marlow, Jessica Corpuz, and Senior Attorney Monica Silver, who came together to formally launch the affinity group in 2026. United by a commitment to mentorship, advancement, and inclusion, they established WOW to foster connection, support professional growth, and create pathways to leadership—bringing the group’s mission to life across the firm.

Who is a woman who helped shape the path you’re on today?

Julie Green, my long-term law partner of 20 years. She hired me, encouraged me, told me not to dim my shine, and helped me organize a life of lawyering on a high level and mothering.  She counseled me on all kinds of things, like money management, how to recover bandwidth, and approaching conflict.

If you could give one piece of advice to young women beginning their legal careers, what would it be?

Your reputation is built on accuracy, consistency, and trust – both within the firm and with your clients.  Be someone that people want to work with.  Learn something from every case and every shareholder, and eventually you will define your own style of practice.

Who is a woman who helped shape the path you’re on today?

My mother—from witnessing and learning of her own life path through careers in law and education to the lessons she has shared with me of the importance of independence, critical thinking, and devoting time to community, I have sought to follow in her footsteps on the path of a successful and fulfilling life.
