Jessica Marlow is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Entertainment practice group.
Jessica has extensive experience representing actors, writers, directors, producers, social media influencers, and international financiers connected with film, television, digital media, and endorsement transactions.
Having worked for a global talent agency, Jessica has represented high-profile talent in connection with a wide array of legal matters. As part of her practice, Jessica is responsible for negotiating, drafting, and consummating motion pictures, television, digital media, commercial endorsement, and underlying rights agreements with major studios, networks, alternative media outlets, production companies, and endorsement labels.
In addition, Jessica specializes in structuring multi-faceted career paths that enable her clients to take advantage of numerous artistic mediums. Her vast relationships throughout the various entertainment fields allow Jessica to provide her clients with opportunities to grow and diversify their respective careers by establishing themselves in overlapping creative disciplines. Jessica’s experience with emerging industries within entertainment, including digital media, provides her with a broad and constantly developing spectrum to promote, represent, and further her clients’ respective interests.
She received her J.D. from Pepperdine University and graduated from the University of California, Davis, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Jessica was named to Variety Magazine’s List of “Hollywood’s New Leaders” in 2013, as well as Variety’s “Women’s Impact Report” in 2015 and “Legal Impact Report” in 2021 and 2023. She was selected for inclusion in Southern California’s Rising Star list in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 and was listed as a “Top Woman Attorney in Southern California” by Super Lawyers.
Outside of the office, Jessica is an active member of The Beverly Hills Bar Association and The American Bar Association. She dedicates her spare time to furthering the goals of various charitable organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
