Jeanne Vance Elected to Board of Directors for Girls Scouts Heart of Central California

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce that Jeanne L. Vance has been elected as a Director at Large of the Girls Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) Board.

Jeanne is a shareholder of Weintraub Tobin based in Sacramento, where she focuses her practice on business and regulatory healthcare law. She is a seasoned healthcare transactional attorney for private companies, private equity investors, and other healthcare consolidators. Jeanne provides California healthcare regulatory consultation to her clients, including in the areas of Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment and survey & certification. She has assisted clients in designing and implementing programs to increase access to behavioral health services, including initial psychiatric hospital facility licensing and securing funding from Medicare and Medicaid programs for various mental health providers.

Weintraub Tobin Welcomes Tenzing Tunden

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to welcome Tenzing Tunden as an associate in the Firm’s Corporate and Tax practice groups. Based in the Firm’s Sacramento office, Tenzing advises clients on corporate, and tax matters related to mergers & acquisitions, governance, financing, and compliance. He brings specialized experience in federal and international tax planning and structuring litigation settlements.

Weintraub Tobin Welcomes Chris Horsley

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to welcome Chris Horsley as an associate in the Firm’s Litigation and the Labor and Employment practice groups. Chris previously joined Weintraub Tobin as a Summer Associate while earning his J.D. from U.C. Davis School of Law. He brings valuable legal experience through his previous roles in family law and judicial externships at San Francisco Superior Court.

WT Deals: Patrick Wachsberger and Legendary Entertainment Launch New Film Production and Sales Banner, 193

Longtime Weintraub client and film producer Patrick Wachsberger partnered with Legendary Entertainment to create a new production company called 193. Named after the number of territories that buy film rights, the company will develop and produce its own projects, work with third-party producers and financiers, and handle international distribution for completed films. It will also provide capital and be across-territory sales for early-stage projects.

In Memoriam – Mary Siceloff

Weintraub Tobin mourns the loss of our friend and colleague, Mary Siceloff. Mary was the Firm’s Chief Marketing officer from 2018 through her passing on December 23, 2024, and was instrumental in raising visibility and growing opportunities for the Firm’s attorneys, practices, and offices.

A lifelong creator, Mary began her career in Los Angeles, producing and executive producing television commercials and visual effects. She founded and headed her own production company alongside director David Wild and worked independently for some of the top names in commercial production.

After over a decade of successfully producing and executive producing award-winning commercials and short films, she founded and ran an art gallery and tea room, which led to developing and running an independent film-screening series, Fringe Film.

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to welcome Bunnie Poullard as a senior attorney in the Firm’s Corporate and Entertainment practice groups. She is based in the Firm’s Los Angeles location, where she represents clients in a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and other operational matters.
