Weintraub Tobin Welcomes Rishita Mehta

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to welcome Rishita Mehta as an associate with the Firm’s Litigation practice group. Rishita first joined Weintraub in 2024 as a summer associate, and has rejoined the firm as an associate attorney after passing the California Bar.

Based in Sacramento, Rishita joins the Firm with prior experience in legal services and a strong commitment to serving clients at every stage of litigation. We look forward to her continued contributions to the Firm and to our clients.

Lily M. Harris Named Trusts & Estates Practice Group Leader

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce that Lily M. Harris has been named practice group leader for the Firm’s Trusts & Estates group.

Lily is a shareholder and experienced litigator who represents clients in a broad range of matters, with a primary focus on trusts and estates litigation. A California State Bar Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, she provides comprehensive representation in contested estate, trust guardianship, and conservatorship cases.

The New “Know Your Rights” Notice From the Department of Industrial Relations

Pursuant to Senate Bill 294 which went into effect January 1, 2026 and added a new Part 5.6 to the California Labor Code (sections 1550 – 1559), the California Department of Industrial Relations (“DIR” aka “Labor Commissioner”) has issued the anticipated “California Workplace – Know Your Rights” Notice (“Notice”).

Uri is an experienced litigator representing beneficiaries, trustees, conservators, and professional fiduciaries through the legal and emotional challenges that arise in probate, trust, and conservatorship disputes. He will be based out of Weintraub’s Sacramento and San Francisco offices and will be assisting clients throughout California.
