Ken is a Shareholder with the firm specializing in commercial real estate development. In representing developers both as in-house and outside counsel, Ken has been active in all stages of development from acquisition (including complicated ground leases) through land use, infrastructure, financing structure, construction and loan documentation, property management to sales and exchanges of such developments.

Representative developer clients include or have included Massie & Co., Harsch Investments, Jackson Properties, Sierra Holdings, Richland Properties, the Balcor Company, Stanford Ranch, Inc., Buzz Oates Enterprises, Watt Investment Properties, W.C.B. Properties, Hillman Properties, Lankford and Taylor and Diversified Shopping Centers.

Ken demonstrates a commitment to the community through his participation in several local non-profit organizations. Since 1991, he has participated as a member and former Chairman of the Corporate Development Committee for the local public broadcasting station, KVIE. He also provides pro-bono legal services for KVIE and Christian Brothers High School. Ken has continuing involvement with the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO) and was the Chairman of its Development Committee in 1991. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Certified Development Corporation from 1985-1986.
